Stor-Guard LLC has been appointed the USA and Canadian exclusive distributor of AccessEzy the leading Digital Access Control and security system from Australia.
Developed by Centreforce Technology over ten years, AccessEzy security systems have been installed in hundreds of Self Storage sites around Australia and New Zealand.
“We are very pleased to have John Wollam and his team represent our AccessEzy products, John is no stranger to Self Storage and his experience dates back to 1980 with the Mini Storage Alarm company working with no less than Buzz Victor and Bryce Grefe (Sentinel Systems) providing revolutionary software and security products”. Dallas Dogger, Managing Director of Centreforce Technology said.
John later joined forces with Doug West and Associates (Digitech) and lead the product development team for the Digitech 102 Access system.
John has been a long serving Digitech dealer for 20 or more years in the Pacific Northwest and has been involved in the engineering design sales and service for over 1000 Self Storage sites nationwide.
Centreforce Technology have been at the forefront of security and software technology for 11 years in Australia and Dogger started selling PTI Access Systems back in 1994, the first to do so in Australia.
He pioneered StorMan Software up until 2006, selling his interest to move on to develop new products for Self Storage. Centreforce were appointed the South East Asian representatives for SiteLink Web Edition and Dogger has grown SiteLink Web Edition to be the fastest growing software in the region with major groups like National Storage making the switch.
“AccessEzy was an obvious choice for us, Dallas had developed a product that was simple and robust, using widely available technology and is right up to date with web browser smartphone and iPhone access – that’s what our market wants – an up to date digital product that is simple.
We are working on new tech that allows owners to upgrade Digitech systems, making them digital and up to date without having to replace all of the hardware”. John said.
John and his partner Glen Aronson own SmartLok Inc, which holds several patents for an exciting new wireless product that will be brought to market with Stor-Guard and AccessEzy in 2012.
“AccessEzy integrates with SiteLink Web Edition and StorMan. More brands will be added as the need arises. Being able to control access via a smartphone or the web fits into both companies philosophy of only selling up to date products.
With our manufacturer we are able to make new innovation available quickly and our very first owners of AccessEzy can stay up to date. We regularly review our product line and add to it to deliver the best access controls available”. Dogger said.
“There has been little in the way of innovation in Self Storage security for many years, we plan to change that. Self Storage owners can look forward to a revitalized range of products from us, up to date, working on the latest PC’s and smartphones.
Existing big vendors lock customers in by using their own language to communicate between devices and Centreforce’s model of developing a system using widely recognised protocols means we can call on the latest technology from leading vendors who make security products like Iris readers, palm scanners, capillary detection, vascular mapping and more”. Wollam said.
Using AccessEzy means we have freedom of keypad design and we have already released our first keypad to the market.
AccessEzy has been installed in a number of sites in the US in Las Vegas, Washington and New England.
